Brace yourself, Wellington: the Armageddon Expo is back and better than ever! New Zealand’s most exciting science fiction and fantasy fair will invade Sky Stadium on the 22^nd and 23^rd of April with a stacked line-up of celebrity guests and more pop culture goodness than you can shake a sonic screwdriver at.

With autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and Q&A panels, fans will have the chance to connect with their idols like never before. Pōneke visitors can look forward to meeting the likes of Eric Roberts, who has starred in The Dark Knight, Babylon, and the popular series Suits; Canadian actor Richard Harmon from the post-apocalyptic drama The 100; Lee Majdoub, who’s appeared on everything from Supernatural to Sonic the Hedgehog; and more major stars.

Did we mention Freema Agyeman [pictured] and Sophie Aldred of Doctor Who fame?

“As a lifelong Whovian, I’m very excited to be hosting classic and current series companions Ace and Martha Jones along with some of the greatest gaming displays we have had in the regions”, Armageddon Expo director William Geradts says.

While meeting some of the biggest names in entertainment is a major drawcard, it’s not Armageddon’s only one. The expo boasts an incredible cosplay scene. A highlight is always the Cosplay Parade, where any attendee can participate by showing off their hard work across the main stage.

There are plenty more events for fans of all interests, with an exhibitor hall packed with the latest merch from your favourite franchises, plus a range of workshops, panels, and activities centring on everything from gaming to comics to anime.

The expo brings together fans, industry professionals, and celebrities from around the world for the chance to experience the incredible. More than anything, Armageddon is proud of the community it has built over the years.
